How do I book?

Use the booking enquiry form on any tour page. I respond within 24 hours to confirm availability and arrange payment. No Viator account needed.

How is pricing calculated?

All tours are priced per group, not per person. For a group of 4, divide the listed price by 4 to get your per-person cost. Most private tours work out to €75–€140/person — a private tour, not a shared bus.

What's included?

Private transport in a Toyota C-HR 2024 (comfortable, air-conditioned, fully insured), the guide for the full duration, and all route logistics. Entrance fees (where applicable — some levada walks require a booking fee of ~€4.50) and meals are not included unless specified.

What's the group size limit?

All tours accommodate up to 4 passengers. I don't combine groups — your booking is always private. Travelling as a couple or solo? The per-group price still applies.

What if the weather is bad?

Madeira's weather is highly localised. I'll advise on the day whether to proceed, adapt the route, or reschedule. Levada walks in light rain are often better than in full sun. I'll be honest.

Do you pick up from hotels?

Yes, from hotels in Funchal and the surrounding areas. For tours starting at viewpoints or trailheads, I coordinate the meeting point directly.

Can you customise a tour?

Yes. If you have something specific in mind — a half-day mixed itinerary, a focus on photography, a walking route for older family members — contact me before booking and we'll build something that fits.
